As every year, volunteers from the Council of Europe staff cleaned the three bird houses set up by the Green Section of the Amicale in the gardens of the European Youth Center (EYC) - the birds indeed prefer the bird houses that are clean and free from old nests. The volunteers were pleased to see that two of these three bird houses had been used by the birds last year.
The Green Section of the Amicale also supplies bird feeders installed at the EYC, which are taken care of by a colleague during winter, and which are very successful - several species of birds regularly visit the feeders.
