En ce dernier jour du printemps des poètes, consacré à la grâce, comment ne pas terminer par l'hymne "Amazing grace", composé au 18e siècle par John Newton et repris par les plus grands artistes américains, dont Aretha Franklin, Joan Baez, Ray Charles ou Elvis Presley? Ce chant fait partie intégrante de l'histoire des Etats-Unis, et son interprétation la plus poignante est sans doute celle, a capella, par Barak Obama lors de la cérémonie en hommage aux victimes de la tuerie de Charleston en juin 2015.
