He has started photography in 1992 and participated in many group and solo exhibitions. Since then, he also organizes many workshops and gives lectures on photography. Being especially interested in commercial architectural and documentary photography, he has developed many projects on these subjects. He continues his journey as architectural photography instructor at the Mimar Sinan University in ?stanbul. In 2010 his work took place in the album of "90 photographers 90 Istanbul" published for the 9th year of National Geographic in Turkey. In 2013, he’s selected as Ambassador of SONY in Turkey and again in 2018 as SONY Alpha Global Ambassador. He is also the founder of "?stanbul Hatirasi Fotograf Merkezi" (?stanbul Memories Photography Center) and fotoroportaj.org. Photography captures a “moment” in terms of space and time. Taking photography is about the will of lasting for eternity. People are closer to death under water without breath, however in this most vulnerable moment, they meet with the hope of survive. His project “Solids in Liquid Phases” is devoted to these particular moments of people between death and life.
