Iceland succeeds Ireland as Chair of the Committee of Ministers

Calendar on 09/11/2022

On 9 November, the chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers was handed over from Ireland to Iceland. The Amicale fully associates itself with the rich cultural programme (attached) that will put Iceland in the spotlight in the weeks and months to come. On the political front, we welcome the decision of the Committee of Ministers to hold a 4th Summit of Heads of State or Government of the Council of Europe on 16-17 May 2023 in Reykjavic.
