The Caribbean dance section workshops provide an introduction to traditional and modern West Indian dances, for all levels. They combine fitness, cardio-training and anti-stress benefits, while offering you a chance to enjoy yourself, listen to Caribbean rhythms and learn more about Caribbean culture. The sessions include a gradual warm-up, followed by short choreographies inspired by different dances from the West Indies: gwo ka from Guadeloupe, Bèlè from Martinique, zumba-ka, biguine, mazurka, zouk, kuduro.
Free introductory class : Friday 30 September – Classes resuming : 7 October

Time/venue: Friday, 1.10 - 2.00 p.m., Bastion Room
Charge of 5 € per session (for funding of equipment, costumes, operating costs of the section, etc.) - Free of charge for trainees
