"An apple a day keeps the doctor away"

The apple harvest season is now over! A producer from northern Alsace (from Rottelsheim) has the pleasure to offer a wide range of apple varieties for sale every Thursday from 12pm to 2pm at Rue Sforza (between the Palais and the D Building) as from 9th November 2017 until the end of March / beginning of April 2018.

Staff members are kindly invited to make their order by using the email address below (no later than Wednesday afternoon) for delivery on Thursday.

The order should be paid upon delivery and on the spot (by cash or cheque).

Only 3kg or 5kg bags are available for sale.

Prices are as follows:

- apples at €1.20 per kg (all varieties)
- pears at €1.30 per kg

 

Apple varieties:

GALA - small to medium size, soft and sweet

PINOVA - medium size, balanced and aromatic taste

JONAGORED - large size, balanced and juicy- to eat or cook

JONAGOLD - medium to large size, sweet and juicy- to eat or cook                      

OPAL - medium size, sweet, with a hint of spices

SIRIUS - medium to large size, fine, tangy texture- to eat or cook

WELLANT - large size, very fragrant, balanced and very juicy- to eat or cook

ELSTAR - small to medium size, lightly acidic- to eat or cook

GOLDEN - medium size, fine and aromatic texture- to eat or cook

BOSKOOP - large size, acidic- to cook

FUJI - medium to large size, soft, very sweet and aromatic- to eat or cook

GOLDRUSH - medium size, very firm texture, lightly acidic and very aromatic- to eat or cook
