Born in 1977 in Bastogne, Belgium, she had a "revelation" for painting at the age of 28 during her first pregnancy. This led her to take painting classes at the Arlon Academy of Fine Arts from 2006 to 2009.
In her creative process, she quickly focused on her paintings the expression of the knife, conducive to the work of materials and light, which she associates with oil paint, for its intensity, its brilliance, and its nuances of incomparable colors. Thanks to the use of fluorescent pigments, her paintings take a fantastic effect in the dim light, offering a more ephemeral and imaginary reading of her painting.
The portrait is her favorite theme. Faces fascinate her. They are the physical reflection of the inner being. Through their representation, the technique and the colors used, she tries to suggest the emotions, feelings, and thoughts of her models in order to make her works the most humanistic, expressive and interactive possible. Her paintings each have a symbolic name related to the first emotion felt in contact with her models. She transmits them her energy, her deep impulses and her sensitivity.
She takes inspiration from photographs of her models. Their instantaneity freezes a spontaneous emotion that she wishes to capture and reinterpret in the painting. She tries to extract the maximum in order to converge towards a rendering resembling and authentic from a creative point of view.
