Starting on the 28th of April 2022 we will offer individual lessons and group classes in Alexander Technique. We teach once a week on Thursdays at the Centre St.Thomas next to the European institutions.

There wil be a free introductory class

The work of F.M. Alexander might interest you if you struggle with

Tension-related symptoms like

Pain in back, neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, hands, eyes, jaw (teeth) or anywhere else in muscles, joints, bones, ligaments.

Stress related symptoms like

Frequent head aches, fatigue, burn out, restlessness, irritability, stress related digestive or cardiovascular disorders…

You can imagine doing Alexander’s work like learning to play an instrument, except that you are yourself the instrument.

Being better “in tune” and using yourself better is a foundational soft skill that profoundly impacts your well being and the quality of your life.

You will learn to

  • Address harmful habitual (unconscious) tensions to take away the basis of your symptoms
  • Do things of your life like sitting, standing, walking, speaking and any other activity tensing up less (unknowingly and unwillingly)
  • Identify and cope with stressors and triggers with less tension so that you feel less stressed and consequently have less stress symptoms

We use guidance by words and a sophisticated touch to give you an experience of “what it feels like” when you use yourself with less harmful tension and more in accordance with your natural design, which is often felt as a great relief.
