The symbolism that permeates the paintings has both modern and historical origins. Dujmović combines elements of the past and present to create a layered and complex composition that takes us on a journey through temporal dimensions. Through diverse thematic motifs infused with a touch of surrealism, Dujmović invites us to contemplate our collective identity. The delicate themes threading through the images reflect feelings of powerlessness, loss, and suffering, yet they contrast with vivid tones and floral, levitating details that evoke joy. These dualities reflect the mood swings often experienced by today's individuals.
Dujmović conveys emotional depth through her canvas, using colors, lines, and textures to evoke the complexity of the human mind. The paintings address universal questions of existence and often compel us to reflect on our own place in the world. The philosophy and psychology of the modern person are also significant themes woven throughout the works. Dujmović explores our inner struggles, the contrasts between light and darkness, and our quest for balance in a chaotic world. Her paintings offer us deeper insights into our inner worlds and their connection to the outer world.
Surrealism, a style that has partially influenced and inspired Dujmović, enriches these compositions. Unusual scenes, disconnected combinations of elements, and visual illusions are characteristic of the paintings in her cycles. Dujmović transports us into a world of fantasy and surrealism, opening pathways for imagination and interpretation. Paintings that transcend the surface and touch our inner being.
Hanna Dujmović's artwork challenges our thoughts, emotions, and imagination, introducing us to deep and complex realms of symbolism, history, delicate themes, philosophy, psychology of the modern person, and surrealism. Visitors are sure to enjoy this artistic experience that opens doors to different universes and reflections on our existence.
