Making art is a process of discovery. Somewhere between self-learning and fine arts education, the creativity of the painter flourished in very talented artists' courses and workshops in different countries that she has been in diplomatic mission. Her painting journey started one and a half decades ago, inspiring every single day. 

Cigdem's first solo exhibition was in 2015 in Paris under the theme "motion- speed- light".  She continued exhibiting in many group exhibitions since then. "Conceptual frames" are composed of paintings and collages of the last five years of her artistic life, reflecting the search of the artist for contemporary. The artist used various techniques such as oil, acrylic, acrylic collage and mixed media on canvas, made layers on layers with color palettes in harmony/or in contrast to visualize the conceptual frames around.
