ASCE - Sport Squash

Squash

Squash

The Council of Europe squash club was created on 1 July 1978 by a few squash-mad employees at a time when squash was just starting up in France.

Looking to combine sport, fun and new encounters? Then look no further! Our Squash Section is the ideal place to let off steam, challenge yourself and, above all, have fun.

Whether you're a beginner or a pro, everyone is welcome! Whether you're looking for a beginner's game, serious training or just a bit of fun, there's a place for you on the section's own squash court. A single package including membership fee, licence and basic cover allows every member to play all year round.

Ready to push your limits? Grab your racket and come and experience the adrenalin of squash! The Squash Section awaits you for a dynamic sporting adventure!

Court location

The squash court is located in the Bastion building, which is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays; it is not accessible at weekends or on public holidays. There are also changing rooms for all the activities taking place in the building. It is possible to take a shower after your intense squash session! Please do not leave your belongings in the lockers and changing rooms after your session, so that there is more space for everyone.

Booking and timetables

Squash Section members will have access to an online system for booking the Council of Europe Section Squash court. Members may book a maximum of 2 sessions per 5 consecutive days. Reservations must be made 5 days in advance if two members of the Section are playing together, and 5 days in advance if a member of the Section is playing with a guest.

A squash session lasts 1 hour, or 45 minutes at peak times between midday and 2.15pm.

Council of Europe section squash court rules

Please follow the Squash Section's rules and regulations, which are designed to enable everyone to play in a friendly, dynamic atmosphere.

The Squash Section Committee has no wish to ‘police’ members. Just as on the court, be fair and show respect for yourself, others and the rules.

Conditions of access to the squash court and CoE buildings may evolve and change at any time depending on events. It's really important to cooperate with the CoE's security services to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
