Music

Music

The music section aims to bring together amateur musicians and music lovers in different formats. Concerts for staff and the general public are organised throughout the year, for all to benefit.

Within the music section, the different groups and activities include:

The 12 Stars Band

The 12 Stars Band is a moveable line up of amateur musicians who play folk, pop and rock numbers. The band performs regularly, for example for the fête de la musique, anniversary celebrations, and more.

The Amicale Choir

The choir is made up of present and former staff members and members of the public, the common point being a love of music and singing. The choir sings in many different languages, and a variety of different genres, from gospel to more traditional folk and classical pieces. It performs regularly for concerts and official events. The choirmaster is Avellaneda DURAND ZUNIGA.

There is also a classical singing workshop, lead by Frédéric GAUFICHON. During the classical workshops, participants rehearse the classical works to be performed during participatory concerts organized by ‘l’Orchestre du Rhin’.

Guitar lessions

The teacher, Gregory Schneider, is a professional musician and has been teaching guitar for many years in music schools.

He offers a unique group teaching method that allows you to learn and progress together.

Lessons are for players at beginner level.
