The new Section "Japanese Language and Culture" will be presented by the President of the Amicale, Denis Huber and Ms Mariko Watanabe, teacher in the Section, in the presence of Mr Susumu Hasegawa, Consul General of Japan, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe, and Mr Kiyoshi Wada, Consul of Japan and Deputy Observer to the Council of Europe (link to the Consulate General of Japan).

Programme:

• Speeches / Presentation of the new Section and course programme
• Documentary films on traditional and current Japan, followed by discussions Q&A
• Tasting of sushi / Japanese drinks Parliamentarians Bar).
