30 YEARS OF THE EUROPEAN OMBUDSMAN!

The Maison de l'Europe Strasbourg-Alsace (MESA) is organising a conference with the European Ombudsman, Teresa Anjinho, elected by the European Parliament in December 2024 for a five-year term, on Monday 15 December 2025 at 6.30 p.m. at ERAGE (4 rue Brûlée, Strasbourg).

The European Ombudsman plays a crucial role in the democracy of the European Union: she investigates complaints against maladministration in the EU lodged by citizens or organisations.

Over the decades, this institution has helped to improve transparency, accountability and good administration within the EU.
