The Back to work party of the Amicale du Conseil de l'Europe will take place on Friday 12 September 2025 at the Restaurant Bleu du Palais de l'Europe. This festive and convivial gathering is open to Council of Europe staff, permanent representations, the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman, as well as their families and friends.

To mark Malta's Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, the evening will be themed "In the colours of Malta" and organised in partnership with the Permanent Representation of Malta to the Council of Europe.

Programme

• 8.30 p.m.: Doors open - Access via Rue Sforza at the rear of the Palais de l'Europe - / Quai du Bassin de l'Ill
• 8.50 p.m.: Speeches by Denis Huber, President of the Amicale, and Ms Francesca CAMILLERI VETTIGER, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Malta to the Council of Europe.
• 9:00 p.m.: Musical interlude by one of Malta’s leading modern folk bands, Etnika. Discover *etnika - Maddalena
• 10:00 p.m.: Drinks offered by the Permanent Representation of Malta to the Council of Europe.
• 10:30 p.m.: Musical entertainment - DJ

Access badges are mandatory for external visitors invited and must be collected from the Amicale office from Wednesday 10 September to Thursday 11 September. 

Registration closes 

Dress code: In the colours of Malta, a surprise will be offered to the two best outfits (man/woman)

Photos and video: A photographer will be present during the evening. A short video and the photos taken will be posted on the Amicale's intranet and website. By participating in the back-to-school evening, you agree to be photographed and filmed. The Amicale accepts no responsibility for the distribution of these materials.
