Grégory LEFEBVRE is not just any athlete, he's a two-time world champion in open water swimming over 5 km and 2 km in Phuket in 2023-2024! He was raring to go in Dubai in mid-December 2024.The first step was to qualify for these two distances, and the qualifying venue was Costa del Azahar in Spain.

In Dubai (December 2024), Grégory not only defended his world open water swimming championship title in the 5km but also claimed the runner-up spot in the 2km.In the relay team event, they secured an impressive bronze medal in the 3 x 500 m.This year, Grégory's achievements just kept getting better! He took home the runner-up position in the French aquathlon, a thrilling event that featured a 1km swim followed by a 5km run.With his outstanding performances, we're sure he's set to make the 2025 season even more thrilling!
