WOOL – GATHERER

 

This is the work I do:

I paint the sky each morning

While all you people are asleep,

You wake up to find it blue.

 

Sometimes the see gets ripped;

Do you know who mends it?

I do.

 

At times I just daydream,

That’s my job too;

I dream of head in my head,

Of a belly in my belly,

Of a foot in my foot,

I just don’t know what the hell to do.
