The European Parliamentary Association invites you to its New Year's Concert, which will take place on Wednesday 18 January, starting at 8 pm, 76 allée de la Robertsau, Strasbourg, a five-minute walk from the Council of Europe.

This year, Viktoria Vassilenko (piano) and Atanas Krastev (cello) will take you on a European musical journey, playing excerpts from operas by Gabriel Fauré, Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin, Gaspar Cassadó, Pjotr Ilyich Tchaikowsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Mstislav Rostropovich, Pablo de Sarasate and Rodion Shchedrin.

Viktoria Vassilenko and Atanas Krastev are considered the best young pianist and cellist in Bulgaria. They are both laureates of various competitions and have extensive international concert experience.

This event is organised in collaboration with Young Classic Europe, the European festival of music for young people which takes place every year since 1998 in Passau (Germany).

After the concert, a cocktail will be served by the Association.
