Within the framework of the Italian presidency of the Council of Europe, and under the High Patronage of Emilio Lolli, General Consul of Italy in Metz, the Strasbourg Philharmonic Choir will give, from April 29 till May 1, two concerts and a commented public rehearsal around Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.

In Neudorf protestant church, 144 route du Polygone, Strasbourg:

  • April 29, at 8 p.m. – commented public rehearsal: free entrance, upon pre-registration
  • April 30 at 8 p.m. and May 1 at 5 p.m. – concerts.

A young high-class cast with Catherine Bolzinger at the conductor’s pit. 

The Strasbourg Philharmonic Choir will be joined by Aurore Bucher, Belinda Kunz, Jean-Noël Teyssier and Johannes Fritsche – voices of strong temperament, character, youth and virtuosity.

Commented public rehearsal

In the preparation for the concerts, the conductor Catherine Bolzinger will invite the public behind the scenes to discover the secrets of the creation of Rossini’s music. This unusual format, Catherine Bolzinger’s specialty, is thought to make music accessible to all kinds of audience.
