The new season for mason bees (Osmia cornuta) or carpenter bees (Xylocopa violacea) has started unexpectedly early this year.

This process of emerging will last for the next few weeks. The bees will work very hard, pollinating thousands of plants, including fruit trees and bushes, usually until June.

The bees are crucial for protecting biodiversity and they are in danger of dissapering. If you are willing to adopt bees for a hive or an insects hotel in your garden, or on your balcony, we have some to offer to you.
