The Caribbean Dance section is pleased to invite you to take advantage of the presence in Strasbourg of an eminent West-Indian choreographer who will be giving a course of Gwo ka dance (traditional dance of Guadeloupe, drum-accompanied). The 3 hour course ( 25 €) will be given by Max DIAKOK*, Paris-based dancer and choreographer from Guadeloupe, Director of Boukousou Company. The course complements the Round-table which took place on 30 march on the occasion of a remembrance day of Slavery Abolition, organised by the partner association, KaraIb' Vibe and whose central theme was : the language of drums.
