(T)Chiribim is a refrain, an invitation to sing together, to share, to pass on a language, a culture.
Tchiribim was born of a great friendship between Clémentine Trolong-Bailly on vocals and Anaïs Beauvais-Hardion on chromatic accordion. Originally from Touraine, the other from Burgundy, the two artists have chosen to develop a repertoire in Yiddish, one of the regional languages of Alsace, where they have been installed for six years. Both passionate about traditional European music, they place cultural transmission and interculturality at the heart of their work.
Through a cycle of Yiddish songs, they will tell you wacky stories of rabbis, rent, marriage ... Come listen to them and hum with them Chiribimbombombombom ...!
