On 10 May, the Caribbean dance section will participate in a commemorative ceremony aside the partner association Karaïb’Vibe. The event is organised by   CERAG (Cercle Européen de Représentation des Antilles-Guyane) to mark the 170th anniversary of the abolitin of slavery. Associations are mobilising in Strasbourg and elsewhere to mark this important date. The groupe will propose dances, percussions and songs related to the event.  L’heure sera donc au recueillement, mais aussi à la célébration, dans l’idée que "la mémoire inspire l'avenir » et que les indignités de naguère ne doivent pas se perpétuer ici ou ailleurs ni ne doivent faire obstacle aux différentes raisons de se réjouir aujourd’hui .
