Blood Collection at the EDQM
Blood is the most precious gift anyone can give another person. Just one unit of whole blood can help save as many as three person’s lives. According to the World Health Organization, 90% of people who are eligible to donate blood are not currently doing so. However, blood donations have a short shelf-life, so regular donors are essential to secure a constant supply.
What can you do? #Give Blood. Give now. Give often.
The EDQM and the l'Etablissement Français du Sang (Alsace) invite you to give blood in a blood donor session which will be held on Thursday, 15 March from 10 am to 2 pm in the EDQM building.
This session is open to the Permanent Representations, staff members and their families. Volunteers should bring with them a means of identification and a completed copy of the anonymous questionnaire, available below.
