Courses de Strasbourg-Europe 2018: rejoignez l'équipe du Conseil de l'Europe

Calendar from 12/05/2018 to 13/05/2018

This year the Strasbourg-Europe Races, organised by Strasbourg City’s Sports department, will be held on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May.

Saturday will be entirely dedicated to Nordic walking with a timed competitive race and an untimed nature fun-walk. The half-marathon, 10km, 5km, the European walk and the roller blade session will all take place on the Sunday.

Last year, 43 staff members joined the Council of Europe team for various events. If like them you’d like to take part this year and get the group discount, you’ll need to fill-in, sign, and send your completed application to Fabrice THOMAS (D building – D029) by internal mail before Friday 13 April.

Applications sent after 13 April will be sent back to the staff member who will then need to apply individually.

The application includes:

1. The fully completed and signed “Group” application form:

For the 10k and half-marathon, don’t forget to indicate your typical race time (expected finish)

2. A medical certificate dated at the latest one year prior to the races, i.e. 13 May 2017.

Ask your GP to write up a certificate including the phrase: « absence de contre-indication à la pratique de l’athlétisme ou de la course à pied en compétition ».

If you are an FFA or FFTri sports-license holder, a medical certificate is not required.

3. A cheque (cheques only please; no cash accepted) made out to “ASCE – Section Running” in the amount of:

  • Roller blade Session: €2
  • European Walk: €7
  • Nature Leisure Walk: €11
  • 5 km: €11
  • Nordic Walking Competition: €14
  • 10 km: €14
  • Half-marathon: €19
  • Challenge ACSE (Half-marathon + 10km + 5km): €35

5km, 10 km, Half-marathon, Nordic Walking Competition or Nature Leisure Walk, European Walk, Roller Blade Session or Challenge ASCE

5. T-shirt size among the following choices: S, M, L or XL (no exchange possible)
