The Caribbean dances Section took part  in Paris Caribbean Carnival on 2 July on Champs Elysées.

For the occasion, the Champs-Elysées had been made a pedestrian zone:  the most beautiful avenue in the world turned into a gigantic melting pot of origins and cultures ...

In partnership with the association Karaïb'Vibe and with the support of the City of Paris and Council of Europe Amicale, the group which had been built-up for this purpose, took part in the Cavalcade, in a colorful atmosphere.  Carnival dance as well as costume-making workshops had taken place during the month of June for the group to get well prepared. They illustrated the 2017 Carnival theme “Paris, Olympiades des Cultures” with a costume on “Caribbean Cancan”.
