On 25 January at 2:30pm at the Agora Building, Dr Denis Matter, radiologist in Strasbourg will talk to us about "The Romans in Strasbourg - Argentoratum". Room A1.05V - AGORA
As Honorary Président of the Urban Natural Park of Strasbourg, he involved himself, starting in 1986, in the preservation of nature in urban spaces.
It is when archeological research was done in the gallo-roman area of Koenigshoffen that he was at the origin of a gallo-roman museum complemented by the conservation in situ of a Roman period site. He will present elements of this Roman site, with its military camp the centre of town and its civilian quarters in Koenigshoffen.
