Under the theme "Colours of Armenia", the “Back-to-work party” held on Friday 27 September at the Palais de l'Europe was a resounding success with nearly 400 participants. It was opened by Armen Papikyan, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe, Olivier Bitz, Deputy Mayor of Strasbourg, and Saida Theophile, President of the Amicale. This festive meeting highlighted the role of the Amicale as a "European window" on the territory of Alsace. Indeed, throughout the year the Association organizes a number of social gatherings and events open to its members, but also to their families and friends, the Permanent Representations and to the public of Alsace. In addition, a raffle was organized on this occasion for the Telethon 2013 and raised 1404 euros.
