DG Danse proposes Zumba and Modern Jazz classes from 9 September 2019 until 11 June 2020.
Inscriptions are open.
Zumba (on Mondays from 12.20 to 1.05 pm and Thursdays from 1.10 to 1.55 pm) NB. Please indicate for which class you would like to enrol at the time of your enrolment.
Zumba is a dance workout sensation which combines music and exercises from Latin and international dances, creating a dynamic, fun and efficient workout for everyone! No need to be a dancer to succeed with Zumba, now come on and join the party!
Modern Jazz (on Mondays from 1.10 to 1.55 pm):
Modern jazz dance provides you with a complete workout and many benefits. Gentle in nature, it allows you to work on your posture, balance, flexibility and even your memory. This type of dance also allows you to improve your energy and creativity using dance variation. It is accessible at all levels and all ages.
Rates and conditions:
Minimum number of enrolments: 10 persons per class. All participants must be a member of the Amicale.
Places are limited, reserve in advance! All inscriptions are final.
The classes take place in sports room n°3 at the Bastion (on the way to the squash court) except during the school holidays and on public holidays.
Born in Réunion, Didier Guichard is a pluridisciplanary artist choreographer. He graduated from the London Studio Centre and from the Latin and Ballroom Dance Teaching Institute of Toulouse. He is a member of the Fédération Française de Danse de Société (FFDDS).
He teaches and performs in a wide range of dance styles, from academic dances (ballet, contemporary dance, modern jazz), to Hip Hop, afro and social dances (Latin ballroom dances, salsa, Lindy Hop). During his career, he was, among other things, a performer in Britney Spears’ tours, a guest artist to the World Congress of jazz dance in Wiesbaden, a performer in musicals such as “Aladdin”, “Dancing and singing the blues”, and a choreographer for Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee in 2001.
He is fluent in English and French.
