We have excellent news for all dance and fitness enthusiasts! Zumba and Modern Jazz classes, led by the talented Didier Guichard, will resume on Monday 8 September 2025.
Class schedule
Zumba classes
- Mondays: 12:20 p.m. to 1:05 p.m.
- Thursdays: 1:10 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.
Zumba, a dynamic blend of dance and fitness, uses Latin and international rhythms for a fun and effective workout. No need to be a professional dancer, just come and join the party!
Modern Jazz classes
- Mondays: 1:10 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.
Modern Jazz dance is ideal for improving posture, balance, flexibility, and memory, while also stimulating your energy and creativity. Accessible to all levels and ages, this comprehensive discipline offers numerous benefits.
Rates and conditions
Annual subscription
- 275 € per class
- Payment by cheque before the start of classes in September. To be sent to Brenda Parry (Palais, Office 0.115).
Pay-as-you-go Zumba classes
- 10 € per class (cash), to be paid to Didier at the beginning of each session.
Please notify of any absence by the Friday before the class at the latest.
Important: Classes will not be held during school holidays and public holidays. All participants must be members of the Amicale.
Registration and participation
Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Modern Jazz classes require a minimum of 5 registered participants to take place. Places are limited, so don't wait to reserve!

Practical information
Classes will be held in Sports room no. 3 at the Bastion (on the way to the squash court).

Teacher biography
Didier Guichard, originally from La Réunion, is a multidisciplinary choreographer and artist. He graduated from the London Studio Centre and holds a professorship from the Latin and Ballroom Dance Teaching Institute of Toulouse, he is a member of the Fédération Française de Danse de Société (FFDDS). His expertise spans a wide range: classical, contemporary, modern jazz, hip hop, Afro dance and social dances (salsa, lindy hop, etc.). Didier has danced for Britney Spears, been an invited artist at the World Congress of Jazz Dance in Wiesbaden and choreographed the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2001.
