The Japanese section of the amicale was delighted to be represented at this year’s “Summer in the city” art exhibition. The Finissage was attended by Ambassador UCHIDA Hiroyuki, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe. His excellency was able to admire Japanese “sumi-e” ink paintings by our teacher Manda and her pupils Carole Herdly, Busra Byralki and Pascal Dourneau-Josette.

The Japanese section is very grateful to Catherine de Solere and the Art Club for giving us the opportunity to show our works.
