75 years ago, Robert Schuman laid the foundations for what was to become the European Union. His vision of a united Europe, based on economic cooperation to guarantee lasting peace, has evolved into one of the world's most ambitious political projects.
As we celebrate this anniversary, the EU is facing crucial questions about its future, such as trade tensions with the United States, the new commitment of member states to significantly increase their defense spending, and the economic and societal issues linked to the ecological transition.
Faced with these challenges, how can we reinterpret Robert Schuman's vision to protect and revitalize the European economy?
The conference will be followed by a cocktail reception.
This event is supported by the City of Strasbourg, the Collectivité européenne d'Alsace, the Région Grand Est and the Préfecture de la Région Grand Est.
