The Maison de l'Europe Strasbourg Alsace's 5th Festival of European Cinema and Cultures kicks off on Friday June 27 at 6:30 pm at the Foyer Étudiant Catholique, with the Polish film “Camouflage” in the presence of its director.
On Saturday June 28, the festival continues at the Studio du Rhin with Charlie Chaplin's film “The Dictator”, followed by a debate on the rise of the extreme right in Europe and the situation in the world, particularly in the USA.
Finally, the festival closes on Monday June 30 at 8pm, in the gardens of the residence of the Portuguese representative to the Council of Europe, where an Arte documentary on the war in Ukraine will be screened and debated.
