Attention, everyone in Strasbourg!
Join us on 20 June for a special public lecture with Oleksandra Matviïtchouk, Director of the Centre for Civil Liberties and winner of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize. The lecture will mark the 75th anniversary of the signing of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Against the backdrop of war, geopolitical change, and mounting pressure on democratic institutions, we will address the following questions:
Is the current human rights framework still adapted to today's realities?
How can we achieve a just peace and accountability in the face of Russia's crimes in Ukraine?
What role can civil society and individual citizens play in defending rights and freedoms?
This event is organised in partnership with ME Alsace and PromoUkraïna.
