The Book 1 association of the Amicale du Conseil de l'Europe invites you to meet Stéphane Leneuf, editor-in-chief of France inter, for a discussion of his historical novel “L'aube du mal”, on Tuesday June 3 from 2 to 3.30pm in room 11 of the Palais du Conseil de l'Europe.

You can then meet him at the bookshop-café La Tâche Noire at 6.30pm (1, rue de Zurich 67000 Strasbourg, France) to discuss his novel, followed by a book signing.

In bookshops since May 2, 2024, “L'aube du mal” is Stéphane Leneuf's first novel, a tragic love story set in 1918 Alsace.

"On November 11 in Strasbourg, Marie celebrates the end of the war and the birth of her twins, Klaus and Nicolas. But this joy is overshadowed by a difficult context: their father, a German soldier, becomes undesirable in Alsace, which is once again French. Marie's love collides with the reality of history."
