Amicale

On its meeting on 1st April, the General Assembly of Staff (GMS)  gave broad support (nearly 90% of those voting) to the Amicale, by adopting the Resolution below:

The General Assembly of Staff, acting as the General Assembly of the Amicale in accordance with Order 1165 of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe:

1. Takes note with satisfaction of the activity report 2024 presented by the President of the Amicale, thanking the colleagues involved in the Amicale for their voluntary contribution to the service of the staff of the Council of Europe;

2. Grants discharge to the Staff Association Committee for the accounts for the financial year 2024, in the light of the report drawn up by the auditors;

3. Congratulates the Amicale on its essential contribution to the social and cultural life of our Organisation and to the well-being and solidarity of the staff;

4. Declares the following candidates elected to the Amicale Committee for a two-year term of office: Nurcan DOYDUK ; Caroline GROSSE ; Catherine GUERRERO ; Alla HEITZ ; Valentyna KRYVENKOVA ; Sophie KURT ; Samira MELIKYEGANOVA ; Pavlo PUSKHAR ; Sabine SCHAEFFER-CHAUVIN ; Szilvia SIMOND ; Sorina SUSANU ; Georgios VEROIOTIS ;

5. Re-elects the outgoing auditors for a further two-year term of office: Joanna BISHOP and Tahmina ISANOVA.

We would like to thank the staff for their renewed confidence, and we are delighted that no fewer than twelve colleagues (including six new ones) have volunteered to join the Amicale committee.
