Dear pan European friends,
One day, you flick a switch in your home, and nothing lights up, not in your home, not in your neighbourhood, not in your town, not in your country, not in Europe.
There's no heating, no way to brush your teeth, no way to cook, no way to use your electric car, no way to watch television, no way to recharge your mobile phone, no way to work on your computer.
There are no means of getting around, hospital care is threatened, your country's defence is threatened, and the whole organisation of society is affected by this blackout.
Did you know that there is at least one cyber threat to electricity supply networks every day?
How should we react? What are the current and future responses to the exponential presence of digital technology at European level, and what could be our pan-European proposals?
If you attend the Paneurope France conference on the morning of Friday 14 February 2025, you will be informed and made aware of this essential issue by expert partners. Our safety depends on it.
As part of our pan-European commitment, in line with Richard Coudenhove Kalergi's vision for Europe, to take a proactive approach and make proposals.
The Paneurope France team is pleased to invite you to the International Franco-German Paneuropean Colloquium on Friday 14 February 2025 from 8.30am to 1pm at the European Parliament Room Schuman in Strasbourg.
One theme will be discussed
the new challenges for the cybersecurity of European networks, the convergence of digital and electrical engineering.
Key players from the sector, political figures, expert speakers, companies and academics will be present. The event will be moderated by Gérard Chabert, expert from Paneurope France and Joséphine Staron, Managing Director of Paneurope France Jeunes.
