Do you like art … a bit? A lot? Madly love it !? What if YOU could choose the next exhibitions in the Arts Club Gallery? Yes – it is possible, and there are three different ways to do it:

1) If you are passionate about art and you are a member of the Amicale, why not join our team?

You can participate in decision-making about what exhibitions we will put on, and also about other activities of the Club, depending where your interests, talents and availability lie. Coordinating an exhibition, at least once a year, takes less time than you think – don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be delighted to answer any questions you might have.

2) If you like art and would like an artist you know to have an exhibition here in 2025, this is the time to put their names forward.

You can do that before 15 November, only through the Amicale website http://www.amicale-coe.eu/en/19-arts-club/.

To do this, you must be a member of staff of the Council of Europe, of a Permanent Representation or of the Amicale. You must fill in the Candidature - Council of Europe's Amicale form with the artist’s details and a short biography. You must also give a brief description of the proposed exhibition and provide 4 photographs of their work, and also say when they would be available during the period between March and December 2025 (for details, see Exhibition rules - Council of Europe's Amicale. Once you have registered your interest, you and the artist you are sponsoring will have general access to the selection process through a secure personal account on that website, and at the end of the process, which will be early in 2025, you will find out whether your artist has been selected for an exhibition (in which case a timetable for the exhibition will be set) or whether they are on the reserve list.

3) If you like art and want to participate in the selection of artists who will exhibit in 2025, even if you are not yet ready to sponsor or coordinate a specific exhibition … stay in touch!

Hold yourself in readiness and your moment will come! When the process of submitting candidatures closes in mid-November, you will be invited to look at the candidates’ files and choose 5 – 20 of your preferred artists. The details of this process will be published in due course.
