The Caribbean dance section workshops provide an introduction to traditional and modern West Indian dances, for all levels. Please come an join us! (1st lesson free of charge)
Both traditional and modern West Indian music will help you to unwind while at the same time having fun and learning a little about Caribbean culture.
The sessions include a gradual and invigorating warm-up, followed by short choreographies inspired by different dances from the West Indies: gwo ka from Guadeloupe, Bèlè from Martinique, biguine, mazurka, zouk, kuduro.
Time/venue: Friday, 1.10 - 2.00 p.m., Bastion dance Room
Gym/workout clothes, bare feet
Charge of 5 € per session - Free of charge for trainees
