Amicale

The back to work party of the Amicale du Conseil de l'Europe will take place on Friday 4 October 2024 at the Restaurant Bleu of the Palais de l'Europe. This festive and convivial gathering is open to staff of the Council of Europe, the Permanent Representations, the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman, as well as to their families and friends.

To mark Lithuania's Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers, the theme of the evening will be ‘In the colours of Lithuania’, organised in partnership with the Lithuanian Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe.

Please note: To take part in the evening, you must register online and bring your ID or badge. Please register using your professional email address.

The badges for external guests must be collected from the reception desk at your place of work (ECHR, Palais de l'Europe, Pharmacopée, Agora) on Wednesday 2, Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October only.

Programme

• 8.30pm: Doors open - Accès : via la rue Sforza située à l'arrière du Palais de l'Europe -  / quai du Bassin de l'Ill
• 8.50pm: Speeches by Eléni Tsetsekou, Vice-President of the Amicale and Mr Andrius KRIVAS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the Council of Europe.
• 9.00 pm: Musical interlude presented by the Lithuanian musician and pianist Ms Lina Štalytė
• 9.40pm: Glass of friendship offered by the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the Council of Europe.
• 23:00: Musical entertainment - DJ

Dress code: In the colours of Lithuania, a surprise will be given to the two most beautiful outfits.

The Promoukraïna association will be present with a stand selling decorative items and souvenirs in support of the Ukrainian people.

Drinks and snacks: The Eurest team will be serving snacks and drinks.

Photos and video: A photographer will be present at the event. A short video and the photos taken will then be posted on the Amicale's intranet and website. By taking part in this event, you agree to the taking of photos and videos. The Amicale declines all responsibility for the distribution of these materials.
