Major floods recently devastated the Emilia-Romagnia region of Italy. According to the Italian media Skytv, 15 people have died and more than 14,000 others are homeless as a result of this natural disaster.
To show its support for the Italian people, the Amicale du Conseil de l'Europe is organising a collection of donations on 31 May. A number of Italian colleagues are joining in this action and will be preparing Italian specialities. Stands will be set up in the Agora, the Court and in the Palais between 12 noon and 2pm. You will have the opportunity to come and eat at these stands in exchange for a donation.
We look forward to seeing many of you there to support the Italian people.
