Amicale

During the General Assembly this morning, the staff of the Council of Europe affirmed by a large majority its support for the Amicale, by adopting a resolution that: 

1. takes note with satisfaction of the activity report 2022 presented by the President of the Amicale, thanking the leaders of the Amicale for their voluntary contribution to the service of the Council of Europe staff;
2. gives discharge to the Staff Association Committee for the accounts of the financial year 2022, in the light of the report drawn up by the auditors;
3. congratulates the Amicale for its renewed dynamism after the health crisis, and for its essential contribution to the social and cultural life of our Organisation as well as to the well-being of the staff and their solidarity;
4. declares the following candidates elected to the Committee of the Amicale for a two-year term of office Nurcan DEJEAN-DOYDUK ; Catherine GUERRERO ; Alla HEITZ ; Valentyna KRYVENKOVA; Sophie KURT ; Szilvia SIMOND;
5. renews the mandate of the outgoing auditors for two years: Katia BARON and Johanna BISHOP

In addition, the General Assembly adopted the following decision on a proposal from the outgoing Committee:

• in the light of the ongoing discussions with the Administration concerning the structural financial imbalance of the Amicale since structural financial imbalance of the Amicale since May 2022  and taking into account  the non--revaluation of the membership fee since 2017, decides to set the amount of bership fee since 2017, decides to set the amount of the annual membership fee to the Amicale at 30 euros from 2023.
