Land without borders

Our mother earth has seas
Lakes, rivers, streams
Plains, forests, rice fields,
Trees, rocks, lampposts
Mountains of sandstone or limestone
Lions, zebras, vipers,
Larvae, insects, worms,
Fathers, mothers, odd ones,
Blue, yellow, green,
Blood red and earth brown,
Dark grey and light grey,
Of shadow and light.

But not on the planispheres,
Nowhere are there borders
They are only imaginary
Like glass ceilings.
Let us free ourselves from these deleterious lines
Let us break the chains that lock us in
Let us remember, even in our prayers,
That all humans are brothers.
