The Francophonie section of the Amicale informs you of a series of exceptional concerts. The first public concert will take place at the Munsterhof, 9 rue des Juifs, Strasbourg on Wednesday 8 February at 8pm:

EVE, an increased humanity

EVE - pour Empower Vocal Emancipation, "donner de la voix à l’émancipation"  - is the name of a new adventure led by Catherine Bolzinger with her professional opera ensemble Voix de Stras' and singers from the amateur choir of the l’Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Singing with someone else is a source of pleasure; but singing with someone from another culture and sharing songs and vocal techniques goes far beyond that - in addition to the pleasure, there is a deep pride in assuming and sharing one's identity, and in participating, in the end, in the creation of an enhanced humanity.
