Join us for our grand Charity Market on Thursday the 8th of December, from 11am to 03pm, in the Lobby of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Parliamentary Bar, followed by a literature conversation from 03pm to 05pm in Room 5, at the Palais de l’Europe.

Under the patronage of the Icelandic Presidency, the sections of the Amicale du Personnel of the Council of Europe, invite you to a grand Charity Market, with Eliza Reid, First Lady of Iceland.

Join us to discover traditional decorations, sweets, cakes, books, and national souvenirs* from every participating country, with a choir performance and a tombola with dozens of prizes to win.

At 03pm we encourage you to attend a short literature event organized by the Amicale Femmes and the Icelandic Presidency in the framework of the launch of the Bibliothèque Européenne des Femmes: The Role and Importance of Literature today (Room 5, Palais de l‘Europe). On that occasion, Eliza Reid will discuss the importance of representation of female authors in literature and present the Icelandic literature scene.

All the funds raised during the event will be donated to the PromoUkraïna association for the purchase of electric generators for the hospital of Kharkiv.
