Calendar from 25/05/2022 to 30/06/2022

Amicale’s Green Section and Eurocyclos Section are happy to announce that the Council of Europe will take part in this year’s “Au boulot à vélo” challenge organised by the Eurométropole of Strasbourg and the CADR67 Association.

This challenge encourages commuters to use environmentally-friendly means of transport while keeping it fun.

The 'ABAV' challenge takes place from June 1 to 30, with the aim of accumulating journeys and kilometers. The challenge also features events that allow you to earn bonus kilometers.

How does it work?

1. Create a personal account under the Council of Europe team by clicking here: subscribe to the challenge.

2. Enter the number of km you cycle on your home to work commute and/or any other routes cycled for professional reasons on the “Au boulot à vélo” website or using the iOS/Android app.

Who can participate?

All interested staff based in Strasbourg and in external offices.

Telework? No problem

For participants working from home during the month of June, it will be possible to participate in the challenge.

Participants will have the opportunity to be able to report the kilometers traveled during the day as part of a bike trip.

However, be careful, there are two imperatives to be validated:

The number of kilometers recorded per day must at most be equivalent to the distance 'to / from home to work' and must only be recorded via the smartphone application.

Parking

We encourage participants to use all available parking spaces around the various Council of Europe buildings, including along Parc de l'Orangerie and Avenue de l'Europe.
