From 17 to 23 January 2022, the Ideal Libraries will be held at the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse and in the Médiathèques.

40 events, major interviews, cross-fertilisation, readings and music.
In the middle of winter, the Ideal Libraries want to show that the major political, social and cultural issues have an impact on the intimate lives of individuals. To appropriate the public space, to speak out against injustice, to take one's place thanks to current mobilizations: this is the common thread of this January edition of the Bibliothèques idéales, with rich encounters for all of our contemporary authors.

For this winter session, the programme of the media libraries is essentially focused on meetings between authors and schoolchildren, from CM2 to the second year of secondary school, classes from all the districts of Strasbourg and the Eurometropole.

A timeless night of reading - Saturday 22 January

The Bibliothèques idéales will accompany the new edition of the Nuit de la Lecture, with an exceptional meeting with David Foenkinos, as well as a musical reading by Mathias Malzieu of the group Dyonisos.

As for the media libraries, they invite you to wander from one to another to take a night flight, cross the Citadels and find Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his story for a few hours in a Night of Reading rich in music, texts and meetings.
