Jean-Mary Paira Pemberton was born in 1930 in Cheshire.
This reading is a crossroads between her poetry in English, the French version, rewritten by the author and her daughter Catherine Piron-Paira, and the music, voices and instruments played by Catherine, Grégoire Mosser, her grandson and Sylvain Piron, her son-in-law.
A thread woven through three generations. A traveller, a nomad, nourished by two cultures and her love for words, Jean-Mary Paira Pemberton, with the air of nothing, testifies to a life experience opening onto a sensitive space, outside of time.
