From today, 22 November until Sunday 28 November, the Italian cuisine week is taking place worlwide. On this occasion, the Amicale and Eurest are inviting colleagues to taste Italian dishes at the restaurants of the Council of Europe (Palais, ECHR, EDQM and EYC), and celebrate at the same time the Italian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers, which started last Wednesday and will continue for the next 6 months. 

The programme is as follows:

Monday 22 November : self of the Palais, the Court and EDQM

Tuesday 23 November : Palais and Agora Snack

Wednesday 24 November : Blue Restaurant at the Palais

Thursday 25 November : Pizza day in the Palais’ self-service restaurant

Friday 26 November : European Youth Centre

The Amicale also contacted a number of Italian restaurants in or around Strasbourg which will welcome you and introduce you to Italian cuisine throughout the week and which may organize various animations around Italian cuisine or serve a special dish for the occasion.

For example:

• At the restaurant “L'Oro di Napoli" (40 Rue des Bouchers 03 88 22 98 79) there will be an aperitif accompanied by Naples’ most typical pizzas on Tuesday evening. 
• The restaurant "La Cantina" (12-15 Pl. du Marché Gayot 03 88 22 00 65) will welcome you for wine tasting from the various regions of Italy
• "Le 2 restaurant" (8 Av. De l’Europe, 67000 Strasbourg 03 88 36 34 34) will add a special Italian dish to their menu for the week.
