The Green Section and the Eurocyclos Section of the Amicale are pleased to inform you that the Council of Europe is participating this year in the 12th edition of the challenge "Au boulot à vélo! "challenge organised by the Eurometropole and the CADR67 association. The aim of this challenge is to promote environmentally friendly modes of transport in a fun way.
The ABAV challenge runs from 1 to 30 June 2021 with the aim of accumulating journeys and kilometres. The challenge is also punctuated by challenges that allow you to win bonus kilometres.
How does it work?
1. Create your personal account under the Council of Europe banner by clicking here: challenge registration.
2. Enter the kilometres you have cycled on your commute to work and/or your business trips on the challenge website or via the iOS/Android application.
Who can participate?
All interested Council of Europe staff based in Strasbourg and in all Field Offices.
Teleworking? No problem!
For participants who are teleworking during the month of June it will be possible to participate in the challenge.
Participants will be able to declare the kilometres they have covered during the day as part of a cycling trip.
However, to be validated, two requirements must be met:
The number of kilometres recorded per day must not exceed the distance to and from work and must only be recorded via the smartphone application.
Parking We encourage participants to use all available parking spaces around the various Council of Europe buildings, including along the Orangery Park and Avenue de l'Europe. https://intranet.coe.int/fr/group/general-services/bike-park
